    hi,
    i have an old toshiba satellite 5205 S504 thats died after 5 years.
    it came up with a blue screen & then died.
    no sign of life when i try to power up, although it charges up fine.
    i'm pretty sure its the motherboard, i've taken it all apart
    & as a project i would like to get a motherboard that works
    & try to get it going again.
    i wanted to ask if i can get a cheap used motherboard from somewhere,
    anyone have any ideas? i don't want to pay too much, since
    i might be wasting my money if i can't get it to work....
    also can i check somewhere what type of motherboard will fit into the S504
    since finding an old identical laptop with a good motherboard might be difficult..
