    is there a way to Format the hard drive of a toshiba satellite a15-s157 with out messing up the windows xp stuff?
    if you know any thing you can e-mail me that would be great

    Formating means that you delete everything on a hard disk, so what you are asking for is not possible.

    Yup, the best you can do is defrag the hard drive, clean the registry, etc. if you want to keep everything intact.

    ok well the thing is theres a virus or something on it and i can't find it and it won't let me open the internet it keeps saying
    "http://badurl.grandstreetinteractive.caom/url.cgi?url=http://b"
    over and over and then kicks me off the internet

    Reboot the computer and press F8 to enter Safe Mode. Assuming you have an antivirus program, scan the entire computer.

    i need a good antivirus program that dosen't use the internet cause it won't work

    If you have another computer connected to the internet, you could download an antivirus installer such as AVG Free. Or, if there is no way to access the internet, you could buy an antivirus program. Commercial versions include NOD32, BitDefender, and Panda AntiVirus.

    Btw, a likely reason as to why you have this virus is because you didn't protect your system with an antivirus solution.

    well the thing is i got this from my brother and he really didnt know anything about it till he went to the Marines but he bought newer one and gave me this one

    ok i ran a antivirus it got rid of 18 viruses but the internet still wont work it dose the same thing have any ideas?
