    my brother has a toshiba satellite a100, and its spacebar won't work while on the internet. he has to hold down shift to use it. he is using xp home. and ie6 (possibly the problem).

    He should probably upgrade to IE7 or try reinstalling IE6 or use another browser like Firefox
