I am thinking of buying this model. It is at Staples store in Canada.
I have been comparing to similiar priced laptops for ibm, dell,hp. It
seems to be the better deal for $2300. I don't know to much about
laptops. Anyone know any cons for this latop? or better competitor model? any help appreciated.

no, I didn't see the review. I will look at it. thks
How does a Pentium 4 2.8 ghz compare to a centrino (1.6ghz) in terms of speed? I asked at dell and he said the centrino would be 1/4 slower then the pentium. In comparing laptops I am not sure yet
whether I will go with the Pentium or centrino as the pentium 4 appears faster.

    Here's a link that compares the P4 & Pentium M (Banias & Dothan) CPU's.
