    toshiba t1850 basic rom error

    I have an old Toshiba T1850 and my original hard drive Crashed. I ordered and installed another one and when I powered up I got this message.

    "This BASIC was aborted, because this machine has no ROM BASIC Use Toshiba's BASIC ".

    I tried booting up with DOS 6.22 and had no luck.
    if anyone has any suggestions that would be great :)
