wondering if anyone with this model noted that the screen does not fit flush with the border on the left side, as if heat has shifted the plastic slightly but enough to allow dust in, and that light does not reflect evenly around the outside especially on the bottom right, or if this is a fault i should have fixed.

the image setup with all toshiba software installed is horrible, 86 registry errors picked up by norton windoctor, and running too slowly so i'm trying for just a windows only setup, then adding needed toshiba addons.. BUT>>>>

also having crashes trying to do recovery, instant reboots, just after it saying press f6 for special drivers, thinking it could be memory, as i've had a message about not being able to write to memory at times. Also getting the hibernation problem, where it won't .. well :) hibernate sometimes

    solutions? similar problems?

The only other thing I can think of besides a full system sweep with a fresh install would be to try and use system restore and go back to the last date when you computer was working normally.
