    another problem !!

    i was trying to see if if my fn keys work in vista and then suddenly my screen and touchpad mouse froze. i restarted now the touchpad completely stopped working. i have checked everyrthing. the device manager tab, the system setting problem devices everything.

    nothing shows any problem. i even booted with windows xp and still my touchpqad wont work. has anyone ever had this problem. pleaseeeeeeeee help :confused:

    Reinstall/update driver? Also, does an external mouse still work? Check the event log to error details as well. If updating the driver doesn't work, try 'rolling-back' to the previous driver (if there was one).

    Event Log:
    Start > Run > "eventvwr.msc /s"
    - or -
    Win+R [keys] > "eventvwr.msc /s"
