Hey, I purchased a u305 a while ago, and the keyboard is REALLY bugging me. It feels very loose, not like its defective, but there is a very noticable flex when i type, and i type lightly. Anyone out there have the same problem, and a possible fix, I'm trying to open it up and slip a piece of foam or plastic underneath it to act as a spacer, but that may contribute to heat buildup in the notebook.

Any help is appreciated. Also, does the u305 have the same keyboard as the u305 Pro? Because having the black KB would be very nice.

Yes, the U305 is VERY flexy, and has a mushy keyboard. I played around with it for a while.

It might be possible to get an aftermarket keyboard, but I am not sure if that would reduce the flex. I think that the heat is just caused by a poor heat dissipation design. Get a laptop cooler pad for it would be my suggestion.
