    Hi,

I am downgrading (upgrading in my opinion) to xp pro from vista.

I got xp installed by following the advice on several other threads by slip streaming the sata drivers into an xp disk. But my lan and wifi will not work despite installing the drivers for them. I am missing a pci driver according to my hardware manager.

I have not been able to find any pci drivers yet.

Has anyone fixed this problem before or have any ideas?

I have installed the intel chipset drivers already.

Well, I got the wifi working and expect to have the lan up in just a few minutes.

I reloaded windows useing a slipstreamed disk created with nlite that only added the sata drivers and nothing else. Went in and manually added the other drivers and the networking is now up.

I think it had to do with the auto load settings I was using. Guess trying to be lazy got me.
