I'm still new to forums here (although I've posted more in the last 3 days than my whole life), so if this is in the wrong place, I apologize.
My new M45 is about 3 days old now.
Twice today when I go to turn it on, I get this message:
Yukon PXE v3.03 alpha 01 (20040913)
(C) Copyright 2003-2004 Marvell (R). All rights reserved.
Pre-boot eXecution Environment (PXE) v2.1
(C) Copyright 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
Press any key when ready.....
At this point, I have to turn it off with the power button and try again. It then goes straight to windows.
Any ideas what this is?

Weird. When I activate LAN in the boot order, I get this exact same message, because the system is trying to boot from your network, except there is no "Press any key message" and it only goes to windows afterwards without making a fuss.
Can't help you to pinpoint the exact problem, but you can disable boot on lan by going in Control-Panel -> Toshiba HW Setup -> Boot Priority, and setting up a combination that doesn't try to boot on LAN before the hard drive. It also speeds up the boot sequence

hmmmm, should a unit that is 3 days old with only 2 programs installed and nothing else be doing this?
I see on some other forums this error is popping up as well with various machine.

I just checked it, and it's set at: HDD - FDD - CD ROM - LAN
uh oooh, another M45 question
