Hi! My toshiba has NO working USB ports, and since I can't stand a touch pad, I've been using a PCMCI card to run a mouse, hot sync my phone, back up to portable hard drive, download from camera, etc, etc. Getting crowded, and Toshiba has been no help. Tried re-installing drivers, no use. I am running Vista home basic. any ideas? Thanks

have you tried taking it back to the place you bought it from or is it too late?

Have you tried going into device manager and seeing what it says there? At the bottom of the list there are the USB controllers and maybe they have been disabled. Alternately, you can try deleting them and letting windows re-install them.
