I don't believe this has one default answer. When I was overclocking, things depended on how much cooling you had, ambient temperature, how cloistered things were inside, etc.

I would play around with 1-2mhz increments, looking at the core temperature each time. Obviously you don't want to get too hot inside, so keep away from making big leaps at one time. That being said, an increase of 10-20mhz should not be an issue, but don't just jump to 210 or 215.

gautam3 is right. There is no set clock setting that would automatically be the best for your GPU. Every card is different and has different OC abilities.

The best way to do it is to take it slow, and test after each change for stability. I think you are trying to compare your clock settings (with a 128 MB 64-bit bus ) to the faster go 7600's (with 256 MB 128-bit bus).

Here's a great little instructional post by paladin44 that illustrates exactly how he tested his go 7600, and how to do it safely. Keep in mind he's working with a 256 MB 128-bit bus version of the go 7600. And always go slow and test with every change.

You can do some serious damage if you take it too far.

    Good luck.

I personally wouldn't mess around with that stuff, but if you want to experiment...we'd love to hear from you what the results are.

I think you're trying to make your GPU into something it just wasn't designed to be. It should give you perfectly decent performance as it is. If you really need every last ounce of power, perhaps you should go with something with a high-end GPU on your next notebook purchase.
