Just ordered a Qosmio F45, still on the way. Heard lots of bad issues related to TOSHIBA's quality these days, are there anyone who using the same Qosmio gave me some comments on that? Am i just made a wrong dicision???

go for the X200/X205 man, way better quality compared to the latest generation of Qosmio's... F45 is considered to be the worst in terms of quality and has an ugly lot of issues...

Unfortunately, yes... I "tested" the G40/G45 and F40/F45 models. The G40/G45 quality is fairly good, but not as good as the quality Toshiba model X200/X205. The F40/F45 felt very cheap in terms for quality, which is quite bad since it is pretty expensive...

However, I was not an eye-witness of any hardware problems/failures and issues, but I witnessed the bad quality of the F40/F45 models, and average quality of the G40/G45 models...

However, since I have not used this laptop, I can't know about this laptop's reliability, only you can, when you use it for a while. Also, what seems to be poor quality, may just prove to be durable enough... how knows?

P.S.: I really hope that you don't find the F45 quality bad, since you have ordered it...

Gotta disagree here. Bought my F45-AV425 a week ago, and has worked great for me. I had an issue figuring out how to output HD DVD playback through the HDMI port, but I worked that one out. Now everything works great!

No issues with this machine. Runs FAST! Everything pulls up lightning quick. It's extremely quiet, can barely hear the fan at all. Game performance is top-notch, although I haven't tried the notorious Bioshock yet. DVD playback, both standard DVD and HD DVD is smooth, no chop.

A lot of people might have something to say about the 1280x800 max resolution, but to my eye it looks just fine. If you need more, you need bigger than a 15" display, anyway, to my way of thinking.

I'll be writing a full review in about another week or two once I've finished putting it through it's paces. But right now: thumbs up!

I never get issues with my G35-AV650 except for the heaviness, fast, good gaming overall but thats the last gen I never use the new gen, but I hear the quality of plastic use is poor compare to the X205 series. But about hardware never hear something...
