    I have a Toshiba SP 2100
    It says on the bottom
    Toshiba SP2100 p4 1900 256 30GB 14XT DCW LM

    It's a so-called p4 mobile processor.

I notice the RAM in there (DDR RAM), is DDR 266. I'm wondering if it can take DDR 333 though. Or rather, what is the highest speed supported by this laptop's motherboard?

Also, what's the memory capacity supported. e.g. could i put 1GB in. And would it support it?

I guess i'd put 2 modules in . For the dual in line or whatever effect. So the bandwidth matches to the P4's QDR use of the FSB. But that's another matter.
