This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hi all,
    just like everyone, i'm also in dilemma, which one to go for.

    I have gone through couple of models but dont know abt their performace or issues in them, it would be great, if anybody can educate me on them.

    1. satellite A100 - 169
    2. satellite A100 - 212
    3. satellite A100 - 691
    4. satellite A110 - 177

    Yeah, I suggest filling out the Notebook FAQ and posting in the "What Should I Buy Forum" to get a better response.

    Don't buy any. Mine has been nothing but trouble, as the "Toshiba A60" post above explains. I don't know what to buy but I think a Dell may be your best bet, a mate at uni has one and is coping well with it as far as I know.
