I'm thinking of buying toshiba R500 since it's the thinnest, smallest and lightest plus probably the best looking 12.1" laptop

the only reason why i'm hesitating to buy it immediately is its cpu
it's much slower than my previous laptop asus U5F i bought a year ago which has a T2 1.8 CPU
and it has only 2GB of RAM maximum

i'm just wondering once the intel announces the new series low voltage CPUs will R500 be upgraded again

and when is intel gonna have the new series of low voltage CPUs?

R600 is coming within a month. The new 4500 graphics should go a long way towards alleviating a major problem with the R500. I don't believe they will move away from the transflective screen, so we'll probably still be stuck with its drawbacks. Should be a very good upgrade. I'm looking forward to it.
