    would the ram and hard drive from a p105 or m105 fit and a105?

    Look for urself in teh specs of the 2 laptops in question. Look for ddr or ddr2, and make sure that each takes the same speed memory. If the ddr part and the speed part match, then ur all set.

    As for the HD, look for the interface aka ide or sata. If they match then u can swap em.

    what do you mean by speed for the ram? i thought that i could put any speed into those slots?

    No man...

    Ram comes in either ddr1 or ddr2. Ddr1 has certain speeds measured in MHz and ddr2 has other speeds (higher usually). So look to see what kind of ram (either ddr1 or ddr2) and what speed (266Mhz, 333, 400, 533, 667 etc.)

    i thought that all you had to look out for was whether it was ddr1 or ddr2...

    No speeds also matter quite a bit, especially if u want dual channel
