Hi everyone, new member here. Quick question:

I bought a x205-s7483 laptop 6 weeks ago and decided to upgrade to a x205-SLi1 to get the dual video. Is it possible to just swap out the hard drives so I don't have to reinstall everything? It looks as if the dual video and faster CPU is the only difference between the two. I assume that once it booted on the hard drive, I could install what device drivers were new and move forward.

Otherwise, I guess I will have to reinstall everything and migrate my settings.

Anyone know of any other ways to do this, saving time at x-mas time is a great thing! Merry Christmas everyone and thanks!

Should work flawlessly. Everytime I go to a new computer, i make an image of the drive from my old computer, and move it to my new computer. Should be basically the same procedure.
