Hello, recently the video card (nvidia 8600m gt) in my x205 sli 1 died. The laptop is no longer under warranty and I found out about nvidia's faulty 8400/8600 cards, so I called toshiba asking them about this and they basically said that there wasn't anything they could do about it; and that they had not received any complaints/information regarding nvidia and these faulty cards.

There was a point when I did ship it off to get repaired while the laptop was still under warranty, and the video card ended up being the problem. So they replaced it with another 8600m and gave it back to me; this was when I was unaware of these faulty cards. So basically all they did was replace a faulty card with another faulty card?

Has anyone else had to deal with this problem or have any advice as to which direction I should take with this?
