The 93*9 comes with a lot of bloatware - crappy flash/3d games that slow down the system, a lot of Toshiba tools that have questional usability (Toshiba Flash cards come to mind) and a ton of little mini-Toshiba only apps that are supposed to make the system run faster, but... don't do much.
I can't give you an app-by-app rundown, but they have dozens and dozens of default apps that really serve no purpose. -
The crap that most galls me is the junk trial apps whose only purpose is to goad you into spending more money. That's bloatware! Ex: AOL, Norton, McAffee etc, etc.
MS Money, Works, Ebay (that was as tough to get rid of as Norton!), toolbars, various "helpers." Each builder includes different junk, most with the intent to get the buyer to purchase more than what has already been spent. Bloatware is just crap which you don't want, or need, hogs resourses and slows down your machine. Except for issues like those, bloatware ain't too bad. -
There a couple decent apps in there though. I use Disc Creater - Its a perfect lightweight cd burning app. Config Free isn't bad either.
I have the flash cards/value add app installed - but I don't have it start automatically. It included some use utilities though.
