x205-sli temps

Recently my laptops processors have be getting quite hot. Normally i run them in power saver mode, and for example my temps are around 48-49 respectively. when i kick it to high performance mode it tends to jump to 52-53 at idle and 55-56 when doing minor web surfing etc. I believe that in game the temps have reached 65-66 (in HL2, TF2, Portal). I was wondering if these temperatures were anything to worry about. The reason I am asking is my processors used to idle at like 45-46 on high performance. Then around this summer they started getting hot, when at that point i called the warranty service, and they came out & changed the fans etc. In you opinion should i give toshiba another call or am i just over reacting. Thank you for the help, and im quite sorry if i am becoming annoying.

 

In my opinion temperature's are normally as for summer ..

Which program use for measurements ? For instance, new CoreTemp for Penryn gives 6C different beetwen Everest .. ;]

 

Mine hit 85, with 105gpu temps, before shutting down a few months ago. 120psi air and a good vacuuming got them back down to normal. Based on my temps, I think you are fine.

 

I have a Dell XPS1730 with 8800s in SLI and a X7900 Xtreme cpu that runs smokin hot. I did notice that with SLI disabled the grapics will go into 2D mode and the idle temps drop like 20C. I am not sure why the graphics cant run 2D with SLI enabled.

 

I have Sli1 and mines idle about 59-65 depending on what time of day it is and the temp. I live in Hawaii and my rooms gets really hot in the day so I see idle temps at 64c and at Starbucks in an airconditioned place idles about 59-60. I play COD4 multiplayer alot and the highest I ever observed my gpu temp go in rivatuner was 91c which got me a little concerned cause usually I would notice it would mostly just stablize at 89. But now that you mention it and the news of faulty nvidia gpus I kinda think my temps are getting higher...........wth! This better not just fail on me, can we sue if it does cause I hear anything over $2000 isn't small claims.

 

I've been using rmclock to mon. my temps. I think that I might as well give toshiba a call and have them send a tech out (make use of that $300 warrenty) to change fans etc. Actully when i was talking to the tech when he came out last time, he said that this is a common issue, and tha he has had to go as far a replace the mobo in order to fix it. Hopefully it doesnt come to that.
