I just recently picked up a x205-sli3 and so far have been happy with it. I have two questions that I haven't seen any answer for and was wondering if anyone could help.

    1. I have the laptop set to use sli3, but sometimes when the laptop boots up gfx performance is very sluggish. WoW is usualy my test as I can tell just by the logon screen and the fps count. FRAPS gives me < 15 fps on some boots. Other times I check and the fps is 50+. Anyone have a reason or fix why sometimes video is hosed at boot. This happens ~ 1 in 4 boot ups. This is annoying, but all I have to do is reboot, check performance, and if good everything runs fine. I've updated all Vista patches and using laptopvideo2go 169.09.

    2. I've seen some people post 3dmark scores of 7000+ on x205-sli1 and -sli3 models. The best I've been able to get is ~ 6700. I'm still running Vista Ultimate and have not reformated. Though, I have disabled unneeded services and uninstalled programs I'll never use. Admittably, I clean Vista install or roll back to XP may help, but does anyone have any tweak guide for a stock system? I would rather not re-install the system unless absolutely necessary. I also haven't tried overclocking yet as I was concerned of the benefit vs. the risk of frying my laptop.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Make sure you're using a 169.xx driver. Also, these things overclock really well... I've hit 8300 3DMarks at 635/940.

I'm using 169.09 on an otherwise stock x205-sli3. How much did you overclock to hit 8300?
