A 16v 1.8amp power adapter was plugged into my cf-72 powerbook by mistake. Can anyone tell me if there is anyway to reset the unit or is it toast

This needs to be moved out of the BST forum, but I think most of the 16v adapters work fine on toughbooks that normally take 15.6v according to what I've seen people say around here. Can you be more specific as to what the problem is, what occured, what you've already done etc.
