    What's a GOOD price for a CF-74?

Not trying to be smart, but what ever you are willing to pay. I have seen 74 prices all over the place, but a good price would be somewhere in the $600-800 range depending on the model. I would sell you mine, but you probably would not want to pay the price I would need to get.

That is in the ball park. You also have to consider that it will take 4GB of RAM (although only 3.2 will show with XP) and how large is the hard drive? Does it have one and if so, how about an OS?

It would be the perfect machine to use W7, especially with a larger HD and the ram maxed out to 4GB.
