I've been trying to sell this thing on ebay for sometime and really just would like it gone. Anyone willing to pay shipping can have it. It was replaced with a CD drive and still works.

Post any questions about it and PM me for payment information. Postage will likely be USPS - small flat rate box at $5.20 Ask about other shipping methods.

What they're worth is to use with Ploplinux boot manager to add USB stick and USB hard drive to boot order in CF-29 MK1,2 CF-51 A in my experience. I have been using them for a while with Linux and just the other day with XP restore. Of course you can use CD or DVD but for the frugal budget, these work also.
Also check out requirements for bios upgrade. I believe they ask for floppy in some cases. (If memory serves)

You can take a dremel to them and bolt a cd drive in them. Ask me how.

I've actually seen a tutorial for that, can't find it now, but we've already bought the CD drive.

@Sadlmkr - you are right, but the bios was already up to date and I don't suspect that there will be any newer versions any time soon. I did try setting up Ubuntu linux on it, but the sleep function didn't work and being a gift, I couldn't rightly give it to someone when something isn't working right.

I've been trying to get ride of all the old computer clutter that has built up over the years and I just hate to throw this away, it's still good but I have no use for it anymore.
