How do you tell if its OEM?

I bought two new a while ago off ebay (not Hong Kong) used one no problem, just not the other. I bought the cf-29 caddy to use with it, but it wouldnt work.

Upon inspection, the part of the ribbon connector plug that attaches to the computer is taller than the cf-29 ones I had, but identical to the cf-18 ones, so I guess I got a cf-18 ribbon instead.

I can get a picture uploaded tomarrow if that helps.

Yep, that's how you tell. The black end is taller on the 18 and the non oem are the same as the 29 but they will tell you it works ON THE 18 BUT THEY DON'T  . When I get home in 1/2 hour will send payment. $25.00 Total ??

That explains it, and $25 is correct.

    Thanks
