as pictures indicate, this one is in good condition...all port covers present, bright screen, functioning touchscreen

cmos battery is no good, toughbook doesn't keep the time/date

actual laptop battery(yellow tab) lasts about 15 minutes


took 512mb module out of second toughbook and put it in the first but it's not recognized

Win2k

wifi via pcmcia card (card came with toughbook with drivers already installed)..I used my own card..will ship with the card that came with it...which is functional

doesn't power up..boot

-Missing battery cover

-Missing 9 out of ten screws for the back cover

-Missing pcmcia port cover

was a lemon that I purchased from ebay..

made thread about it here when I got it.

worked about 3 days before it stopped taking a charge, or powering up.



it powered up to bios with me literally holding the battery in place about a month ago. it IS an 866Mhz mk5.
Got the BSOD indicating that there was no OS

after ram module was removed, doesn't power up

 

UPDATE 6/19/11


got replacement cmos battery from the ebay member who sold me the working toughbook

will ship it in the package
