    do you still have this and if I slide out the floppy on my cf-29, will this slide back in and thats it! does it come w/driver to get it up and running?

    I would be very surprised if the driver wasn't built-in to your version of windows. (assuming you're using some version of windows, that is..)

    Unfortunately I do not have it. I submitted this in August and it has only just been posted. I will have another one shortly. It should be new but until I get it I won't know for sure. To answer your question, you do need software to enable the DVD movie playing. If you slide out the floppy and slide in the DVD it will work as a CD and will read DVD data discs but it will not play DVD movies without the software. I have the software you need. If you buy a used one on ebay and need the software send me a PM and I will send you a copy. I will contact you when I get the next DVD
