These are the combo cards we've been using to replace the individual modem and LAN cards that come stock in a CF28, thereby freeing up a slot for use with a wifi card. It is very simple to install.. no tools, no wiring modifications.
Price is $5 shipped to a US or Canadian address.. It'll probably be just a little bit more for other countries.

What are the accepted methods of payment? Do you have Ebay/Heatware feedback?
Thank you. -
I guess I should read the forum rules! I can accept check, money order, credit cards through Google Checkout, or FUNDED paypal. You can see my ebay feedback here: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=ab_plc_guy

Thank you.

You ever try one of these on a 27?
-
Tried.. too big to fit in the socket.
-
-
yes.. if memory serves, it just won't fit. And correct me if I'm wrong, but even if it did fit, none of us have yet been able to make a card other than the aztech modem work in that slot..
-
I need a card and also need the dual connector plate - my 800MHz CF-28 came with only a modem connector in the plate.
-
Maybe two..
-
I'll take one. Let me know the payment details.
-
It says you cannot receive a private message.. wierd!

Hey Gravitar,
Do you have any of these left? I have a Cf-28 coming in via Ebay, and may need one.
Thanks,

Help I bought a 3com combo card model 3cn3ac1556b. When installed my cf-28 will not boot, any suggestions.
-
i think i'm the one that sold it to you
hopefully someone else will come up with a suggestion. if not, i guess the only way to make sure it isn't a defective card is to send you another one to try. they're all brand new so i haven't been testing them, but i will stick one in one of my CF28s to verify that it boots up before i send it.
