FS: CF-29 MK4 1.5/CD-RW/Backlit/WIFI/GPS

This MK4 CF-29 Toughbook has been my personal laptop for the past two years. I believe it was previously used in a Police Cruiser. It is in good condition with the usual scratches and scuffs but no major damage anywhere. The screen is in very good shape and had a screen protector on until the pictures in this listing were taken. I purchased this particular unit because it had the base features I wanted such as the backlit keyboard. I then upgraded the ram, added bluetooth (small interface plugged into side USB and fits with door closed), installed an internal OEM GPS unit, and put in a 2-port PCMCIA USB card. The touchscreen worked when I first purchased the laptop but at some point it stopped functioning. I never really used the touchscreen so I don't know exactly when the problem came up. I don't know what the issue is or if it can be fixed. I am therefore listing it as having a failed touchscreen. This appears to be a common problem and replacements are available on Ebay.

It includes the Windows XP Restore CD's and the install CD for Easy Media Creator burning software. The system will be restored to factory default and then XP SP3 and all drivers will be installed and tested prior to shipping. I will also make sure the GPS is configured and working properly. All port covers and doors are intact and in good working order. The four included batteries hold a charge but I cannot guarantee running time.
