    8) [Additional comments about the item]
This is a 300 MHz, 64MB, 12" touchscreen unit. Has factory installed mini PCI modem. This is for the base unit ONLY. the HD/caddy, media bay drive, memory expansion slot, and PCMCIA slots are all empty. They have batteries, but they flash red. All port covers are included. Overall condition is good to very good. They have BIOS passwords, so you'll have to open it up and pull the little yellow battery if you want to clear that. I will make sure the system boots up before shipping it.

Most of these look like they've never been used. I guess harley engineers are very careful with their tools!

    Gravitar,

I was refered to you by Tomact and Ohlip, about my cf27 screen, looks like this barebones could be a great donor.
My Zip Code is 30022, how much is that?
Can I replace my 10 inch screen with a 12"inch one?

    Thank you

As mentioned above its only $20+s&h. You just swap your existing hd with caddy, battery and etc. and your set but I dont know if the 266mhz Cf-27 drivers are compatible with the 300mhz. Good luck. That is a nice offer.

Note: Sorry its an old thread, but anyway maybe there still leftover fo you.

    KK,
Kevin will be around, but you should note that he advertised these over 8 months ago. I might have one, I'll look in the morning.

Hi Captain, thanks for the reply and best wishes for the new year.
No prob, I understand it is a long shot, but I rather take that, buy here from someone from the forum, than venture in to the bay and get caught with something unusable.
Any help in securing a donor, barebones with working touchscreen, is welcomed.
