    I am interested in one or more batteries but....Do you know if they will work in a 30 as well as a 29?
    I am not reluctant to mod in any way as long as I know it will work.

    CF-29 and CF-30 batteries are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT animals... Do NOT swap them.... One may fit into the other and you may boot.... (And I MAY win the Lotto!) One may provide the magic smoke... Then you can see if a Genie appears to answer your wish for a new Toughbook.

    Yes I have the yellow tabbies (No no you tomcat lol), anyways I am doing one full charge cycle on each battey and I use the battery bar application and it shows a 0% wear rating on each. I also comfirmed only 1 charge cycle in the PC viewer app. I acquired brand new cases of 10 all sealed never used. I was told they were in storage for 5 months after being ordered. I have averaged 5h58m per battery with medium-high screen brightness and several days of turning the machine on and off and mixed use, DVDs, work etc.
