i have a cf-18 that does not pass post, the internal memory has failed. it is complete except i removed the additional memory. the pcmcia card door is missing and it does not have an ac adapter. the keyboard is missing the F6 key and the black plastic pieces on the screen edges are broken around the screw holes. it has internal gps, battery, hard drive caddy, and the digitizer screen is good. 200.00 shipped to the 48 states, payment via us postal money order, thanks!

Oh pooh... I really wanted ANOTHER dead laptop around for my pregnant wife to beat me over the head with...
mnem
Now honey, you promised no more sharp object trauma, only blunt objects.... -
hey toughbook
do you want to sell that oem gps?
i've been looking at the garmin gps 20x and doing some modes to suit but would really like a oem. -
Wow I missed out on this one lol lame.....
-
I'm working on fixing it... But my first attempt has already ticked me off a little. I pulled a few wires out of the monitor harness plug.
Devil... I'll let you know if I decide to part it out. I told majette that he could make more money by parting it all out but he didn't want the hassle.
The way I figure... Current or recent past ebay pricing...
OEM GPS- $200 min
HiCap Battery - $125
Hard drive caddy - $150
Port covers (all) - $75 min
Sell the rest for scrap - $150
Of course you always make more by breaking the laptop apaprt for parts. It is a hassle to sell everything as it can take months to move it all out. That and all the fees... Who knows if you are really coming out ahead.
I may just keep it as a parts machine in case I buy more CF-18s... -
cOOL THANKS FOR THAT WILL KEEP LOOKING FOR NOW
FS: cf-18 for parts or repair
