I need MediaPocket device for CF-27. Floppy or optical

I got mine CF-27 without any booting devices so I need something to fill empty MP. A pity that MP does not have standard connection so I can't use anything else on it. I would be fine even with floppy drive since I have external PCMCIA cd-rom driver but still floppy disk is needed. Anyone would kindly charity for me and send your old floppy? Also I am willing to get overused batteries because I could make new cells but mine CF-27 lacks battery too.

 

I have several floppy drives for the CF-27/28/29 and would be willing to give you one...if you pay the shipping (I would normally not make an issue of the shipping, but Finland is quite another issue!) Let me know if you are interested and how much the shipping should be to your address from ZIP 32456 here in the US.

 

Silver... If you can get it weighing less than 13 ounces it can go regular mail and you can price the weight online.... If over 13 ounces you'll need to go to the PO to fill out Customs Forms and most likely pay around $15 minimum...

 

I have a few floppy drives - you are welcome to one if Silver Trooper hasn't sorted you out already. I'll be away until Saturday evening, so I'll get back to you then. I also have quite a few other CF 27 spares if you need them.

 

Where do you live? Silver trooper lives very far away so it might do expensive shipping so if you are nearer or in EU country then it would be better.

No I can't. I have enabled all messages. I think it's related to post how many those have been made... isn't it 10 post and only then can send private message or...? When I click the account it just does not show "send private message" but with everyone else it's there.

 

The PM limit is set to 15 for new users... You do have the availability... Just click on the person's logon name and select Send XXXXXXX Private Message. Some users do not have it activated and/or do not post their email addresses... So you may not be able to PM all users.

Yes I arrived already yesterday! Thank you very much!!!

There's just terrible smell of wet mold and I hope it's not from from the place you are living... But I wiped and cleaned it carefully and the smell is gone and it works great anyway.

Now I did multiboot for 2 CF-27s; Win95 for MK1 and Win98 for MK2 and each toughbook have it's own hardware so this was pretty handy. I can just switch the caddy between toughbooks and select the correct partition for proper configuration.

I just have problems with win95 because it always have problems detecting pcmcia sockets and usb but I use win95 purely because of nostalgic reasons
