    When I had a Cf29, I used a Dell disk....
If I recall, I used the Vista drivers for a mk4 or mk5.....

Do you already have a W7 COA for it. If so which one do you have. Home, Pro or OEM??

The laptop was ordered from a seller some where in the middle of the country. I never did ask if it was oem or not I assumed it was. Instead, it came with a copy of the factory OEM disk.

I have debated on upgrading it or perhaps, upgrading to a newer laptop . Was also thinking of buying the business version. The CF-52 being lighter appeals to me. I do not know on battery life or graphics. But it is a consideration.

Cost is a consideration. Want to keep it under 300 dollars if possible.

If you want a touchscreen CF-52GUN____ is the only choice, I have six...two are at 25K hours.(they are tough) Same LCD as CF-30.
One you might like is 50 hours and W7 coa. Red back-light on keyboard. It has a Intel SSD LinuxMint in it which means the W7 caddy is somewhere else. GUNBX2B. I'll look for the W7 caddy.

send all replies to support ATTT netvergent.ca The laptop OS needs to go. OS has been defragged, scan disk for errors, no virusus, no registry errors and so on. I will also eventually upgrade to a Apple Imac for graphics capability. But for now, need to replace the os. who has a replacment disk?

The CF-29 was never offered with Win 7 so you are not going to find a Win 7 restore disk for it, they don't exist. If you want a XP disk several people might be able to help. What is your model number? You should find it on the bottom of the computer, or better on the first screen of the bios. CF-29xxxxxxx.
