I know this is likely a very long shot, but I'd appreciate an opinion on the market value of this fairly rare/unusual notebook...

    Panasonic CF-R6 (CF-R6MW4AXS)

Intel Core Duo ULV U2400 @ 1.06 Ghz

    1.5GB RAM

    60GB SATA HDD

    Intel 950 Integrated graphics

    10.4 XGA (1024x768) LCD

    spill-proof keyboard (Japanese/U.S. layout)

    Intel 3945abg wireless

    10/100 LAN

    Modem

    SD card reader

    PCMCIA slot

    2 USB 2.0 ports

    Docking station port

    VGA out

Genuine Panasonic battery (14% wear as per NHC)

    Genuine Panasonic AC adapter

    XP COA

    2.1 lbs (993 g)

The laptop has some scuffs on the outer lid, reasonably clean otherwise, bright screen with no dead pixels or other imperfections.

Here's what the machine looks like - the version in question is plain old magnesium alloy silver, not one of the fancy coloured ones:

We never got that model in the USA. They skipped from the 5 series to the 7 series. Your specs are very close to the CF-T5 with the core duo. Compared to the T5 yours has newer wireless card and sata hard drive and not the older IDE hard drive. Compared to the 7 series yours has the older CPU and is fanless as they added the fan to the 7 and up series. You are going to have to look at what the 5 and 7 series are selling for and find a middle there.

AFAIK, no R series were ever offered in the U.S. by Panasonic, only by "gray market" importers...

Platform-wise, you are correct. However, size and weight are not similar at all, not in my book anyway...

Thanks for the input, though - highly appreciated.
