Panasonic CF-29, CF-30 Toughbook WWAN Sled with Novatel Expedite EU730 Wireless Cellular Modem

Users can take advantage of high-speed mobile internet networks to increase productivity and reduce downtime, while securing a reliable connection virtually anywhere a cell phone can be used.

You will need a Panasonic CF-29 or CF-30 Toughbook laptop/notebook computer with a WWAN pocket and an OEM antenna.

The WWAN pocket is located above the battery on the left side. Look inside it to make sure there are connectors in there.

The OEM antenna is on the upper left side of your monitor and can be extended to about 2 inches.

Your AT&T/Cingular SIM card slides into the external SIM slot located under the small door (door shown open in the photos).

You will need to contact AT&T to purchase a service contract to use with this WWAN card. I don't know if this card can be used with other carriers such as Sprint or Verizon.

    Included:
    • Panasonic WWAN Sled with External SIM slot.
    • Novatel Expedite EU730 Wireless Cellular Modem (Mini PCI Express Card attached to sled).
    • Novatel MobiLink software for HSDPA Modules - on CD.

Man, I wish I had the money from selling my CF-28. Stupid Paypal has a hold on it. Hopefully it will clear in time and I might have to put a bid in on that. I have a PCMCIA card from work that I can use, but would love to transfer the SIM card to an internal one and free up the slot.

I forget, can you end Fleabay auctions if they have bids on them? If so, what would you consider a fair price to consider it? If you prefer to answer in email, it is my user name @ gmail dot com.

You need to download the drivers off the providers website. If it's a Verizon card, I can download them for you, off my account.

I have one of those cards I bought for $20-30, I don't remember, got a 29 coming that will support it, then I can see if it will work for sure.
