Is a CF-52 Touchscreen panel "plug and play" with this board? I'd really like to see a picture of the bios page w/model # hours etc also.
Scroll down a bit and you will see my post re: buy/trade for mobo. My unit is a CF-52 GUNBR2M. I do have some neat stuff to trade if you are in the market. I like fair for you fair for me. :)

I am not interested in trades what so ever just money. If you can confirm you are interested in purchasing, and not trading I can provide a picture of the BIOS.

I am not 100% if it's a plug and play with a touchscreen CF-52 screen to be honest, in fact I dont think it came with a touchscreen. Do your research to see if it is compatible.
I cannot offer to disassemble the laptop to check for connections, etc. This laptop is being sold to someone who wants to replace the screen to use it not to part it out.

I'm checking as we speak. I'll PM you in a bit.
My 52 was in the water so it's a bit corroded inside and I have the option of motherboard, or a new bottom half. I have a line on a mobo in Europe that I am looking at.
Cash is no problem sorry if I offended you.

No offense taken mate, just I get a lot of people asking questions then offering trades or low balls, just wanting to avoid that lol.
    Sorry.

If it helps the connection in the back for the LCD appears to be a common 30 pin connection found on laptops like the Vostro 1510 15.4", however the Inverter cable is a ribbon style connection which is proprietary.

I almost always buy something when I start talking about it but in this case for my project there are several issues with board differences etc. I have to back away at this point and wish you luck.
Thank you for your time, I truly appreciate it.
