Looking for CF-53 Bottom Half. Don't need the lid or screen. As long as it works and the price is right. Did see a couple on eBay a while ago but $150-$200.00 is too much for half a laptop and they were not sure if it worked.

My 53 works great. Since I got it sits in the docking station under my flat screen. I just figured I would find another one to put there instead. That way I can take my 53 where I go. I have a mobile dock for it to . Just have to set it up in my truck

Not sure what you paid for yours but you can pickup a MK2/3 for under $150.00 if you look hard enough (that's cheap I think). Seen a couple touchscreen's ones last week for $130-$145.00. I just thought about it too long and then they were gone. Did not have a HDD/caddy but I have a spare HDD/caddy for mine. I bought my 53MK1 new and that was not cheap

Actually I bought my car dock 2 months before I bought my cf-53. A guy on eBay was selling Havis dock for a Toughbook but the guy did not list which Toughbook it was for so I looked up the model number and found out it was for a 53 so i bid on it. No one else bid on it so I got it for $19.99 with free shipping. Funny thing was it cost the guy $22 to ship it :D . Nice black and silver dock with 4 USB's.
