    I would suggest Heartland (Heartlandsi.com) (913)-685-8855.

This is nothing new here with the CF-29 - the speaker is TERRIBLE - T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E!!!! PERIOD! It's mono and it's quiet as hell unfortunately...

Stereo hi-fi quality speakers on a fully-rugged military-spec notebook computer - sounds like a contradiction.

The audio output is full stereo so just plug in some headphones to get good audio for listening. I had to take the speaker/RAM cover off my CF-18 when I got it and carefully un-bow the metal to stop it pressing on the speaker cone. Works great now.

Apparently a CF-19 speaker cover can fit a CF-18 - that might be another way to go if it's possible.

    Craig.
