I am in the market for ANOTHER CF-29 and maybe 2.
I picked one up off of Ebay and got lucky with a great seller, but he does not have anymore.
    What I need....
    CF-29
Not hung up on processor speed.
    1 gig ram
    80 gig min HDD
    CD/DVD
    13" screen, touch or not
Keyboard, if backlite must be click not rubber, but non BL ok.
    on board 10/100-modem combo
    INTERNAL WiFi
    A/C Power Cord
    Decent Battery (no red lighters)
Condition needs to be 8 plus
    XP sp 2 with COA
Need this unit working out of the box......

    Thats my minimum needs.
I am buying for our Maintenance Department in a Public School District, so price to value ratio is key.

    Thanks,
    Rick H...

I will have one, probably two available. They are both 1.6 processors, 13" non-touch, 512 RAM (but you can add or I can for a few $), optical drive (either DVD/CDRW or DVD/writer), standard chicklet (black) keyboards, WI-FI. Both have XP Pro COA (Service Pack 2 or 3, your choice) and I will make sure all updates and drivers are installed. Price should be somewhere in the $650-700 range. Let me know if you are interested.

By the time everything is installed, the price should be pushing the $700 mark (plus shipping), however, it could be a bit less if you go with just a DVD rom instead of a burner (although there isn't much difference nowadays).

Overall condition is very good to excellent. Almost no marks on the outside and the screens are pristine in my opinion. They only have 2500-3000 hours on them which is not much considering they are on almost 24/7 when used in a law enforcement setting as these were. They were a special run for the Bakersfield PD and they evidently just did a swap out.

I will need a few days to get everything done and make sure all is working well. If I can, I will try to ship in such a way to save some dollars, but they WILL be packaged securely and covered by insurance. Let me know where you are located and I will try and get a good shipping cost (do you have a preference on carrier?)
