I can't believe I'm going to ask this but what is the "suspension" key?
I have a standard CF-29 standard keyboard I could pull some of these keys from. -
I believe he's looking for the little white plastic cross thingies which cause the key to rebound when you press it.

Edit: "thingy" is a Panasonic technical term, not sure what Dell calls them. -

aye; the suspension is he x-brace hinge thingy that holds the key to the keyboard and allows it to move up and down.
I'll try to get a pic of the one on my sister's 29 (the one in need of a key), just to make sure they match up. -
After I see the picture, I'll let you know if I have it. I am pretty sure I do.

looks like the suspension is good. if I recall correctly, the key is what had broke and wouldn't hold on to the suspension. KEEPER...that's the proper name for it....I think.

A tiny amount of silicone adhesive will cure that problem for you. -

yeah, but she lost the key....

I.F. Did you get your key? All I can offer is a $25 KB or $75 BLKB. ( needs work) (paint it black etch out the letters) Some gov agent actually wore the black off several keys. Don't be cheap it's your sister.
