This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Have oneHello, I'm new to this forum and to toughbooks,I just bought this cf-29 and it didn't come with the caddy.I am looking for on to buy if anyone has one to sell.If so e-mail me. Thank you.
    I wound up buying three that I needed,cost a bunch of money.

    email sent......as you are finding out these caddies are not cheap. If you find one under $75.00 you better grab it

    yes you are right they are not cheap and the bad thing is I need two.
    I can get by with one but sooner or latter two.

    :mad: .. about 2 years ago i was doing some IT work for a machine shop that had moved into a new facility ... In the server room there were 5 LARGE boxes with these metal cage looking "thingys" in them .. when the job was done the owner asked me if I would have any use for the "thingys" ... I laughed and didn't want to be troubled with their old "junk". Afer buying a CF-29 I recognize them as hard drive caddys for the CF-29 and after seeing the demand increase I ran back over there a couple months ago but ... they had been thrown away ... Needless to say I will never pass up anyones old computer junk again ..
