    That's the IDE/PATA version...The SATA model is difficult to find..
    You can convert the IDE to SATA if you get the cable....

    My CF52M will work with either SATA or PATA optical drive....
    A CF52P will only work with a SATA drive....very odd...

    part number for PATA cable....DFWP0142YA

    I have been looking, but I can not find the part number for the SATA cable. I thought I had it here but maybe not.....
