The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. Be careful, that EMP-9701 looks like a Type III-A which means it is too tall for some applications. The CF-28 inner mini-PCI slot can only fit a Type III-B.

But it should work fine in the CF-29 if you trim/remove some of the rubber bumpers they stick to the mobo. I usually trim them to fit as I like that fact the can't bounce around that way.
