I am looking to buy the wifi or cellular housing that screws on top of the LCD housing for a CF-28.

Are you looking for just the antenna or one that has been modified for wifi? Are you also looking for the pass-through connector? (Will you use it in a car dock or do you care?) Or are you looking for a complete setup that may or may not include the pass-through but will give you phenominal wifi reception when you hook it up to your wifi card?

What I want to use it for is to house my sarentel gps antenna. my idea was to reverse it and mount it opposite side of the lid from the wifi antenna.

Sorry - doesn't work. (I've tried) You can reverse the telescopic antenna & hack it in place, and you can also hack the bezel to fit the Sarantel antenna, but you have to use the OEM rubber cover for that side & rework it with a heat gun; the one for the OEM wireless just will not fit on that side.

Now if we could just find a way to FLIP solid objects like we can in PhotoChop...
