Bump please for anyone who has this memory...Will any PC133 256 SODIMM work in a CF-28? Should it be Low Density? Just in case no one has any and I have to go to Ebay.
    Thanks so much,
    Kevin

Hi. From experience, I know that on CF-28 Mk1, 600MHz, PC133 will not work, you need PC100. low density. I'm not shure about Mk2 and Mk3. Best you ask Toughbook or Tomcat. Regards, Voytek.

Thanks for the responses and Connor please let me know. Most of out CF-29's are 800 mhz but a few are 600 mhz.

    Thanks so much,
    Kevin

I just know that the cf-28's are fussy
Over half the ram I bought over the years for these would only recognise 1/2 the module size
And It might/will make a difference on the mk# , even on the 256mb module

I have two 128 MB MODULES. Original Panasonic CF-WMBA81128 (GOLDEN RAM) They are PC 100-222-620. They will work on all CF-28 models. Also I have one 256 MB module PC 100-222-620 also made in Japan. This have no Panasonic model number. The same is sold on Ebay for $40.00. 128's are $30.00 each, 256 is $35.00 shipped to US. If you would like all 3, $90.00 shipped. Regards, Voytek.

I have a box of memory. I'll look through it and see what is there. How many pieces of memory do you need? All of mine should be OEM Panasonic memory. I'm putting a lot of CF-28, CF-29, CF-18 & CF-19 parts up on ebay, but have not gotten to the memory yet.

This is what I found today in a box of CF-19 WWAN's & CF-29 WWAN Sleds, etc. There is another box of memory that I ran across that I will go through in the next day or two. It looks to have plenty of memory.

You must have the newer Toughbooks hawk
Cf-29 + cf-30 type memory is what you have
None will work in the cf-28

Alex, I think the CF-28 memory is in the other box. I'll go through it hopefully tomorrow. Could be all kinds of memory in that box!
