Hello everyone,
I was thinking of getting 2 * 2gb RAM for my Toughbook CF-30 MK2 to replace with the current 2 * 1gb memory.
Since I'm on a budget I'd actually prefer to get used ones in decent shape.
Thanks,
-

Did you know that PC2-6400S DDR2 800MHz 200-Pin will work too.

I don't really know which frequency/latency would work and which one is preferred or work the best for MK2.
I'd actually need a bit of advice. So, do you mean these ones could be found easier/cheaper? Is there a place/brand you'd
recommend buying them from? -
get Crucial (Micron) RAM if you can. never had any issues with them for more than 7 years since I (almost) only use them on notebooks.
the minimum would be DDR2 533Mhz, but you should get at least 667 or 800. they would have better timings if are not run at their max frequency. -
Thanks everyone. I arranged to get 4gb Micron RAM.
