My CF-72 didnt come with built-in WIFI, I'm trying to find all the parts I need so I can install the factory WIFI myself. If it's worth the price of the parts of course.

If you are Ok with splitting the case on your 72 you can add an internal mini-pci card with a standard internal antenna running up the side of the monitor and mount it in the top of the monitor case, all internal and works very good. Just need a wifi card and a internal wifi antenna with a small antenna. Easy as pie. I had maybe $45 in mine and very happy. I will try and find you pics and specs of what I used if you like - hope this helps.

The wireless card that came with the late model CF-72s was a Cisco-350. It is a powerful 100mw card but only has 802.11b at 11Mbps. I have a couple of those cards I would sell for $10ea plus $2 for shipping. I would include a driver disk, which is a real pain in the butt to get, it took two hours and I had to register, jump through hoops with Cisco. I have never had as much trouble getting drivers in my life! The Cisco card does pull in a very good signal and is pretty trouble free. I have had problems with the Intel 2200 cards cutting out and crashing my systems, so I wouldn't use those, I'll sell you mine though, lol!
But you may be better off buying a more modern Atheros based card.
The Engenius EMP 8602+S is an awesome 600MW card that is the most advanced and powerful card on the market. You can get one for around $65-75.

For antenna ideas you may want to check out my antenna mod at http://toughbook.wikispaces.com/CF-72 , I got the idea here from Toughbook and the guys, but theres good pictures and full instructions of what I did and where I got the parts.

Oops. I just read the rules for posting and I guess I need to post my accepted forms of payment. I will accept Paypal or U.S. Postal Money Order. If you want to see my 100% feedback score on Ebay use the advanced search feature for seller I.D. fast-e-nuff!! Also 100% on Amazon although I have only sold a few items there.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that rule only applies to items valued at over $100. I've got a lot going on but I will get around to it if I need to. It's not real high on my priority list unless I am breaking the rule! Thanks!

You are right, I didn't correctly read the rules. Pictures are still pretty to look at though ;)

Sorry, once again I must ask you to re-read the rules:

"11) Do not just post external links to Ebay or another forum. Add all relevant information to your thread and you can link to Ebay as long as previous rules are met."

    Thanks!
