both of the flimsy plastic covers for my toughbook are gone, came that way, Id like to make it waterproof once again,

looking for the plastic serial port cover at the left rear of the machine, and the 3 covers over the usb port, modems, and a/c power ports on the ritght.

    Thanks, Steve

I have the modem cover and maybe the usb, but Not an ac port cover. I don't think I have the serial, but I will look later on.

I really wish that Panasonic would learn to make these things with a bit of longevity. I have went through 2 on my CF-29 already, one new. : (

Something I have noticed is the new ones are not as strong. The last bunch that Heartland sent me don't flex/bend like the ones I got a year ago. I was even told that the ones I was selling were cheap China knock-offs  and I DON'T SELL KNOCK-OFF'S

I actually thought the AC port, USB, and modem were all three the same part, but now that I look at it, it appears to be three plastic flaps all screwed down under the same bracket. I have the brackets, just the remains of the covers are underneath.

How much you want? shipping to 64077.

    Thanks, Steve.

How about $5.00 for the modem/usb cover, and $1.00 to cover shipping?
I only have that one. No AC or serial port.

If you don't mind let me know how much the post office charges you to ship them. They charge me $1.99 in a padded envelope :mad2:

Now that ticks me off...not you ;) but the postal service. They will not charge me for an oversize envelope like they do for you.

I think it was first class large envelope. I cut it down to about 9" by 4". Maybe less. Try being nice to the postal employees:laugh:
Maybe try a different post office. I live in the Pittsburgh area. I have 5 Post offices within 6 miles of home. Different employees have different attitudes.

Or maybe print the postage online. See if they accept it. I bet they are too lazy to pay any attention. The receiving post office would be the one to maybe reject it.
    I doubt that they would.
